Description:

　　Currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to add to a medical device company. Some roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:

　　Identifying and implementing corrective actions to resolve manufacturing product and processes -Process validation IQ/OQ/PQ

　　-Gage R&R

　　-Design Transfer activities - taking it from R&D to design phase into manufacturing

　　-Will be writing and clarifying procedures for processes to be used in manufacturing processes

　　-Develop and implement continuous improvement methods, lean manufacturing

　　Skills:

　　Manufacturing engineering

　　Design for manufacturing

　　Manufacturing process

　　Process improvement

　　Process validation

　　Medical device industry

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Previous experience working within Medical device is ideal. If they have experience working on capital equipment or larger devices that is also ideal but not required. They device they produce is a large product that they only make a few of each year so it is a longer assembly process. Any previous experience working with cross functional teams where they have exposure to working with multiple departments.

　　Work Environment

　　This individual will be reporting to the director of operations, and then there is a SR Manufacturing engineer on the team. There is also 2 other manufacturing engineers on the team as well. This individual is going to be working on the production floor and interacting with the assemblers and production and a regular basis. They are also going to be working with the R&D team as new products and design come out.

　　Located in Chaska just opened a new facility, very welcoming and updated space with large testing labs and production floor. This individual will need to be onsite everyday. There is some flexibility with this role but depending on the situation but majority of the time they are looking for someone to be onsite full time.

　　Looking for someone that can come in and mentor 2 of the junior level engineers on their team. The role also has the potential of working into more of a leadership role and the person grows with the company.

　　Would have interactions with the CEO and meetings with key leadership partners.

　　Need extra support right now with mentoring and developing the team. They are all stretched thin right now and need this role filled.
