CLA is currently seeking a Manager/Director - Transaction Tax to join ourTransaction Tax practice.
How you'll create opportunities in this Manager/Director - Transaction Taxrole:Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existingclients and mentoring team members.Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of tax duediligence, structuring, modeling and other special project engagementsrelated to acquisitions and dispositions by private equity investor groups,family offices and strategic buyers.Work with CLA specialty tax groups as needed (SALT, Global Tax and FederalTax Solutions).Perform tax due diligence projects through a review of tax returns, legaldocuments, and financial statements, and write and review tax duediligence reports.Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers a ton of flexibility,autonomy, and the encouragement to make things happen.Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines foradherence.Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along withfacts, conclusions, and recommendations.
What you will need:You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.You have a minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience working with taxdue diligence, structuring, modeling, and other special projectengagements related to acquisitions and dispositions by private equityinvestor groups, family offices and strategic buyers.CPA license certification is required. A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA)certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license.
The wage range for this position is: $130,000 - $247,000
Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, andknowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
