Basic Function
HF Sinclair in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Manager of Credit Card and Tech Services to oversee the Brand Marketing and Loyalty team to develop and implement brand strategy, programs, sales enablement and advertising strategy.
Job Duties
Manage and develop a team of personnel to oversee Sinclair's Credit Card product line and processingContinuously surveying new products, technology and methods for reducing company expense while supporting effective settlement processes and customer touch pointsManage relationships with POS vendors, Sinclair Distributors and supporting banks where necessaryManaging and negotiating contracts, pricing recommendations and equipment sales and rentalsEstablishes and manages credit card policies related to security, software systems, equipment selections, credit card acceptances, chargebacks and customer supportManage data and contracts with third party processorsResponsible for Credit Card profit and lossSpecial assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
Education Level
A minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. MBA preferred
Preferred Educational LevelMaster's degree in business or related field preferred.
Required Skills
Ability to perform a variety of high-level assignments for the marketing department. Working knowledge of Microsoft products, and ability to multi-task, is required. Ability to handle situations involving conflicts arising out of products being off specification, short/long term refinery/logistical problems causing product outages and/or customer complaints, and human error causing product outages, etc. Strong organizational skills; advanced leadership, effective delegation, negotiation and forward thinking skills; ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication, and across multiple department lines and manage third party locations. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
Responsible for the direct supervision of Brand Marketing Staff, Loyalty team members
Work Conditions
Office based with up to 33% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
