As a Mammography Tech, your demonstrated customer service and communication skills greatly assist you in obtaining images of good diagnostic quality, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients.

STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: Batavia Medical Campus

DEPARTMENT: Radiology

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, hours will vary from 7a-9p

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are metGeneral Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient chartsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PAY RANGE: $29.00 - $41.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
