This position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Business, oversees the property budget, and the long-term planning of property projects.This position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in Seattle, Washington.Pay Rate: $31.25/hourDuties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Seattle Social Services facilities maintenance management and property related operationsResponsible for overall supervision of maintenance employeesResponsible for Seattle Social Services vehicle fleet maintenance and upkeepMonitor and facilitate SSS properties compliance with policy, contractual and regulatory requirementsMaintain, and ensure compliance with all property and facilities maintenance schedules, facility and equipment inspections, reporting, certifications, and procedures in accordance with all Salvation Army, State and local regulatory requirements, guidelines and policiesManagement of various business continuity plans covering system failures, power outages, evacuations, relocations, shelter in place operations, etc.Responsible for related budget input and monitoringManage inventory database of supplies and equipment for Seattle Social ServicesResponsible for maintenance related supplies and purchasing for Seattle Social ServicesManage depreciation schedule for all equipment and furnishings across SSSAssist with overall maintenance of security camera operations at Seattle Social ServicesResponsible for management of fire safety system operations and maintenance across SSS in coordination with site management.In coordination with Seattle Social Services Directors conduct regular building, property related safety inspections in accordance with prepared schedules.Point of contact in all facility related emergencies coordinating appropriate response and reporting as neededProvide direct supervision and training for maintenance staffAttends and participates in related staff meetingsConduct regular dept. staff meetingsProvide relevant training opportunities for the department staff in coordination with HRMaintain Department LogsCreate and maintain physical filesMaintain and update vendor contact informationGenerate reports as neededEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in all of the following fields: staff supervision, facility maintenance / management, supplies and purchasing.Minimum of 2 years of experience in budget management and vendor relations preferredPossess a valid WA State driver's LicenseThe information in this job description indicates the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this classification.
