Job SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for fixing equipment as needed, change overs, PM's and troubleshooting of equipment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production settingAbility and willingness to diagnose and repair the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of a wide variety of machines.Working knowledge of PLC'sPerform quality checksPerform other duties as requiredComplete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers
Education / Experience / SkillsHigh School Education or Equivalent (GED)Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor preferred.
QualificationsJourneyman Card from the Department of Labor preferred. Degree or certification from a college or university is required if you do not possess a Journeyman's card.Previous experience working as a Millwright, Electrician or Machine repair in an automotive manufacturing environment.Experience working in an automotive sheet metal stamping facilityExperience with large transfer and progressive dies a plusAble to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon reworkStanding 8 or more hours, walking to assist in seat build, rework, etc...Ability to solve problems and work with support personnel
