Read mechanical drawing and sketches and identify specifications neededInterpret design and select appropriate equipment and processesMachine part to a tight tolerance in a reasonable amount of timeFollow all established safety requirementsAdhere to ISO 9001:2015 standardsRecord work according to appropriate codeClean and maintain machines according to established procedure.REQUIREMENTS:Education:
High School diploma or GED is requiredGraduate of a trade/technical school preferredExperience/Certification:
5-7 years or more machine shop experience in an R&D or production environmentSkills:
Experience with lathes, mills, drills, grindersCNC experience (lathes, mills). Experience with Hardinge CNC is preferred.Proficiency with measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to read mechanical drawingsBasic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Self-motivatedPreffered Skills:
