Description:
Must be able to operate equipment efficiently, at desired rates and with minimum downtime. Properly communicate with ground storage and Making Operators with radios, telephones, etc. Basic knowledge of transfer cars and haulage systems. General knowledge of Making area. (Where they mix and mold the brick).
Shift: 1st 5:30am- 5:30pm( 12 hour shift) This is a 2-2--3 schedule. Candidates need to be aware of and know that on scheduled days to work they could work until 6pm or they could work up until 9pm, just depends on how fast they get all the cars done that are needed for that day. Best way to describe it to them is to consider themselves unavailable on days scheduled to work. If they aren't ok with that then they will not be a good fit for Pine Hall Brick.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain safe and clean work area to avoid personal injury and/or property damage
Use proper safety equipment and procedures including LO/TO.
Ability to learn other jobs and fill in when needed.
Obtain good working knowledge of Artech and Ceric setters.
Ability to understand and use computers as they relate to operation of Setting Machine.
Knowledge and ability to use hand tools to adjust, repair, and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
Ability to properly perform changeovers from one product to another.
Ability and willingness to assist brick machine operator as needed.
