Robert Half is partnering with an incredible company, a leader in the freight and supply chain industry, to fill a Logistics Sales Manager position in the West Metro area. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business, fostering client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities:
Secure revenue through referrals, leads, prospecting tools, and discreet cold calls
Conduct thorough customer research
Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to develop strategic action plans
Utilize load service boards to determine rates and optimize margin
Coordinate the operation of carrier pick-up and delivery of freight
Identify and qualify opportunities for additional business
Build discreet relationships with customers to ensure predictable, repeatable revenue
Develop and present strategic plans to increase revenue for accounts
Negotiate with clients, understanding diverse priorities and expectations for projects/quotes
Requirements
Qualifications:
Seasoned in the field of freight and supply chain management (LTL, freight, warehousing, distribution, technologies)
Experienced in building relationships with clients and team members with a proven sales record
An enthusiastic individual who loves to drive the company forward and help others succeed
Self-motivated and a self-learner
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
