Take a look at the details below for the position.Duties and Responsibilities: The LPN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living or personal care setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of the AL/PC Administrator and will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.Essential DutiesAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. In accordance with Simpson's medication administration policy.Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.Provide wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.Monitor and document changes in residents' health status and report any concerns to the AL/PC Administrator.Provide in-dwelling catheter care occasionally when needed.Provide wound-care occasionally when needed.Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records.Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident care and safety.Assist in creating, updating and maintain resident care plans as necessaryParticipate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with nursing practices through Relias on-line training as required under PA Regulations on an annual basisOther duties as assigned.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications relevant to the job

Retirement community providing service to senior adults in independent, assisted and skilled nursing community. The majority of the time the Community is a 24/7 operation.LPNs typically work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.Memory care facilities are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so LPNs may be required to work different shifts as needed.While providing direct care to our residents, you may be exposed to bodily fluids, viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.
