About the role
What you need to know:
This is a unique role within our Client and Broker Engagement team. You will w ork with the UK Broker Relationship Managers to build relationships with key brokers and internal stakeholders, embodying ona AIG philosophy across all lines of business in line with budgets.
This is a key role in supporting the acquisition of new business through championing broker systems; pipeline management, acting as point of contact for customers and implementation of UK sales initiatives.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Work directly with Broker Relationship Managers to look after the strategic broker as well as those where agreements are not in place (Miller, McGill), including the creation and execution of Key Broker Sales Plans
Build strong relationships with key brokers, acting as focal point for all queries and exist as a key contact on Key Broker Relationship Plans.
Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across all lines.
Attend & Represent distribution in internal and external meetings
Act as champion for each of the broker systems for the UK both internally and externally
Monitor & Implement Sales Campaigns & strategies – FTSE 100/250, Win Backs, Talbot etc.
What we’re looking for:
Basic insurance industry knowledge
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
Negotiating and communication skills including presentation skills
Ability to prioritise work tasks according to commercial needs
Ability to develop and articulate a plan
Team player with a positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
Salesforce proficient (nice to have)
