The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aLeadQuality Auditorto work out of its state-of-the-art facility inSidney, NY.
While this role will have some flexibility to occasionally work remotely, it is not a total hybrid role due to customer audits, etc.
The key responsibilities of theLead Quality Auditorinclude, but are not limited to:
Scheduling, conducting, and maintaining records of all internal QMS audits and reporting on results
Leading all customer and third-party audits
Oversight of audit team for internal process audits, including scheduling, processing, and reporting audit results to department supervisors and AAO management
Scheduling and conducting all distributor audits (as requested by DLA)
Conducting verification audits when needed, or oversight of audit team member conducting verification audit
Training of audit team members
Ensuring all audit CARs get closed
Sending weekly report to Quality Management reporting on week's audits
Keeping up to date on AS9100 and MIL-STD-790 requirements
Maintaining thorough knowledge of AAO quality requirements and QMS system
Responsible for releasing all quality documents and procedures, maintaining, and editing quality manual and procedures (with approval by Quality Director), and distributing changes when made; ensuring AAO remains compliant
AAO GIDEP rep – Reviewing all weekly emails and notifying appropriate personnel as necessary for counterfeit parts or other GIDEPs of interest; submittal of GIDEPs to GIDEP agency
AAO OASIS rep – Upkeep of OASIS information/user information, managing and reporting all CARs from registrar (Intertek), and granting access as requested by customers
Receiving and filing all monthly distributor DLA lot acceptance reports
Filing customer scorecards when received
Filing certificates of destruction when received
Management Review Prep – Sending out notifications to slide owners, preparing the presentation and sending out to meeting participants prior to meeting, preparing all Sidney audit slides with updated information, attendance at Management Review meeting to record minutes, typing up minutes and distributing following the meeting
Salary $58,460 - $75,000

The Person -
The key skills and qualities of aLead Quality Auditorat Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Auditor certification desired
Excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at both oral and written communications
Proficiency at Microsoft Office Personnel
Be a team player
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Travel required, approximately 15%
