About Lead Process Engineer - 3rd Shift

  Job Description Summary

  Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

  Roles and Responsibilities

  Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline

  Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy

  Use some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance

  Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

  Provide daily "shop floor" leadership with respect to EHS, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity to assigned teams (100% on time ATS/concern reports, CVP ownership, Aged WIP, FTY, etc.)

  Champion an inclusive team focused culture through shop op rhythms, KPI ownership, and collaborative problem solving

  Provide leadership in scheduling resources, technical leadership and facilitating the flow of hardware to meet customer requirements

  Collaborates with other functional teams to ensure requirements are met (including quality, cost, scope & cycle)

  Coach and develop employees to support individual performance development

  Support initiatives to achieve goals in asset utilization and process improvement

  Solve problems, set direction, eliminate waste, own visual management

  Required Qualifications

  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience)

  Minimum of 3 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience
