Job Title: Manager, International Licensing

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated International Licensing Manager to join our dynamic team. As an International Licensing Manager, you will be responsible for managing our global licensing operations, establishing and nurturing relationships with international partners, and maximizing revenue streams through effective licensing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of client management, intellectual property rights, contract negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving global marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key international licensee accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with partners at all levels.

Client Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of each licensee's business objectives, priorities, and challenges, and proactively identify opportunities to add value and drive mutual success.

Approvals and Quality Control: Oversee the approvals process and monitor websites and social media activities of licensees to ensure compliance with brand standards, quality specifications, and legal requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, editorial, ad sales and business development to support licensee relationships and drive business growth and profitability.

Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to licensing revenue, royalties, and market share, providing regular reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic account plans that align with company goals and objectives, driving revenue growth and market expansion.

Contract Negotiation: Assist contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms and conditions while protecting the company's interests and intellectual property rights.

Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by international licensees in a timely and effective manner, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.

Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics in international territories, providing valuable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.

Business Development Support: Respond to inbound business inquiries, identify and pursue new business opportunities with new or existing international licensees, support the development of compelling proposals and presentations and coordinate preparation of new agreements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international licensing, account management, or related roles within the licensing or media industry.

Proven track record of success in managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional client service in a global context.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with analytical skills, capable of synthesizing complex information and market data to inform decision-making and drive results.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and reputation.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Pay Range

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.In addition,Dotdash Meredith provides to employees (and their eligible family members) a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, unlimited paid time off (PTO), adoption or surrogate assistance, donation matching, tuition reimbursement, basic life insurance, basic accidental death dismemberment, supplemental life insurance, supplemental accident insurance, commuter benefits, short term and long term disability, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family care benefits, a generous 401K savings plan with a company match program, 10-12 paid holidays annually, and generous paid parental leave (birthing and non-birthing parents), all of which may vary depending on the specific nature of your employment with Dotdash Meredith and your work location.
