Are you ready to use your years of experience to play a key role at Vector Pipeline and provide overall leadership of all company engineering, construction, and operating activities? We are looking for our next Manager or Director (depending on experience) to join our team!
Here's What You Will Do:
Oversee all project management and technical planning activities related to design and construction of new interconnects and expansion facilities.
Assist in the review and approval of proposed facilities and capital expenditures to the management committee.
Advise the development and updating of standards, specifications, policies, procedures, and management system documentation.
Continually review the critical pipeline operating and maintenance work processes to increase quality of safe reliable service and maintain a cost-effective pipeline system. Track annual system wide maintenance and outage time compared to company system reliability goals and look for areas of improvement if applicable.
Coordinate and oversee all company operating/engineering activities with respective operating service companies to ensure work is proceeding according to regulations and management system requirements.
Monitor and evaluate success of meeting operating program goals and objectives.
Coordinate management operations reviews and document performance in annual reports.
Responsible for Vector Canada Management System (VCMS) and its implementation according to applicable codes and regulations.
Review and monitor the Vector Environmental Management System (VEMS) and assist with continual improvement efforts.
Who You Are:
Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
A minimum of 5 years in pipeline engineering/construction/operations related activities.
A minimum of 5 years experience in project management or operations with a sound knowledge of natural gas facility design, construction, and operating requirements.
Supervisory experience with ability to lead and motivate others at all levels to accomplish company goals.
Strong organizational, communication (oral & written), decision making, time management and negotiating skills.
Knowledge and experience in environmental/operating regulations, codes, and permitting requirements at local, state, and federal levels.
General knowledge of corporate processes and financial impact of engineering/operating activities to other functions within the company.
Must have valid Passport and driver's license.
