Audubon is currently seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E)Designer I to join our Team in our Tulsa, OK office. The I&E Designer Iwill performassignments associated with designing instrument andelectrical equipment, components, structures or systems.
Essential Functions
Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminarydesign.Perform sizing and electrical load calculations such as cablesizing, conduit sizing, voltage drop, and cable tray using\charts and tables, as required to complete work assignments.Initiate drawings following instructions of engineer, designer,supervisor, specifications and/or sketches.Implement revisions and change control per company standards at thedirection of senior level designers and engineers.Assemble information and reference drawings from a variety ofsources.Continually look for product improvements and cost reductions.Determine and initiate drawings/models based on optimal viewsrelative to communicating construction desires as\applicable.Assist with performing field surveys, documenting existingconditions, and/or recommending various design solutions.Check field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-builtdrawings as needed.Review and assist in preparation of Operation & Maintenance (O&M)manuals.Design components or portions of systems, and modify existingdesigns to develop or improve them.Utilize 2D or 3D computer aided design software to create layouts ofinstrument systems, devices and components, and create fabricationand assembly drawings.Maintain proper file management in accordance with company andindustry standards.Perform field data gathering when requested by supervisor ormanager.Track and maintain a continued awareness of task schedule and budgetfor assigned projects.Comply with all company and client health, safety, security andenvironmental (HSSE) standards as well as federal and local HSSEregulations.Actively participate in company and client hazard identification andobservation programs, and immediately report any unsafe acts,conditions or incidents to your supervisor.Qualifications
