  THE POSITION

  Are you ready to take the next step in your human resource career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania? The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Environmental Hearing Board (EHB) Human Resource (HR) Office is looking for an organized, efficient, and detail oriented human resource professional to join our team as hire transaction coordinator, time administrator, and personnel file coordinator.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  This position is within the Employee Relations and Workforce Support Division which supports employees in DEP and EHB. You will act as the point of contact for managing and maintaining employee performance reviews (EPRs), employee personnel files (eOPFs), and other time and attendance related functions. Organization skills are key in this role because you will review and take action on tickets received through our internal HR case management system (ServiceNow Ask HR), analyze requests for overtime payments, and communicate with union representatives.

  No day is the same in our office! We will work with you to develop your human resource knowledge, and equip you with the tools to advance in your professional career.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
