Summary of Job Purpose:
Responsible for the property administration of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) supporting the U.S. Army's UH-72A fleet of aircraft, as assigned. Adheres to and executes assigned duties to meet applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) in the daily execution of assigned duties. Utilizes Defense Contracting Management Agency's (DCMA) Property Management System Analysis (PMSA) as a guide to ensure Safran is compliant with the 22 PMSA Elements. Performs research and analysis of property related issues, provides issue resolution recommendations and leads or participates in numerous internal and external teams to ensure contractual compliance. Focuses on the accountability, issue, receipt, storage, record keeping and inventory control requirements of assigned GFE. A thorough understanding of property administration practices, techniques, and standards is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Adhere to requirements driven by Federal Acquisition Regulations, Safran policies and procedures, and Contractual inclusions for compliance.
o Provides assistance with property related issues and coordinates property control activities to ensure continual, full life-cycle accountability of government / customer, associate contractor, and / or company assets in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy. Report any findings to Government Property Manager immediately.
o Develop, recommend, and implement property administration policy and procedure
o Performs day-to-day Government Property transactions, as directed and approved by the Government Property Manager
o Coordinate the repair of Government Property (GP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and company policies
o Coordinate with KAR's (TX) / LSR's (AL) to fulfill customer orders requiring the use of GFE for the U.S. Army Lakota fleet
o Utilizes GFE in an efficient manner by selecting a serviceable asset that best matches life limits of other installed engine components or modules
o Conducts property management process, records, assessments, reports assessment results, and coordinates findings resolution.
o Assists with projecting GFE requirements and provides updates to the GFE Manager and Lakota Key Account Manager, as required
o Produce, consolidate, and report GFE metrics to GFE Manager, as required
o Report status of GFE assets to prime contractor and government entities, as required by GFE Manager
o Perform cyclic and annual inventory counts of GFE, as required
o Track, request and receive required GFE core returns from customer
o Requires infrequent travel (less than 10%)
o Requires “on-call” duty
o May require limited/infrequent weekend work

o Authority to conduct work with US government ITAR/EAR controlled information
o Authority to act with GFE Manager approval
o Constant communication with defined internal and external teams
o Produce, manage, control, and retain documents, as per appropriate polices
Job Requirements
4.0 Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:
o 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or property management required; Associate's degree preferred
o Extensive knowledge of SAP operations required
o Strong organization skills
o Strong written and oral communication skills
o Able to work independently, with minimal guidance
o Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain access to controlled, government facility
o Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office suite required; to include MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; Good keyboarding skills required; comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel desired
o Broad knowledge of FAR and DFARS for Government Property desired
o Current Forklift certification; or able to obtain after hired
