About Global Account Leader - Netflix, Strategic Accounts

  Description

  We are seeking a world-class Sales leader to lead our partnership with Netflix, one of our most important business partners at AWS. This leader will own the overall Netflix relationship, be based on the West Coast, and will have direct line responsibility for Account Managers and a dotted line responsibility for technical and customer support resources.

  This leader is responsible the partnership, growth, and innovation of the AWS/Netflix relationship and will build and maintain strategic relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage team resources globally.

  Provide global business leadership and management of the global customer relationship including teaming with the customer’s board, IT, digital, business unit and cloud leaders to build strategic relationships globally.

  Lead, grow and develop a world-class multi-layer, international global account, collaborating with appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests.

  Articulate a clear vision and generate enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups within assigned accounts

  Work at the most strategic level within the customer, implementing a broad strategy for earning customer adoption, acceptance and service implementation.

  Develop formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting the activity and workloads running on AWS.

  Basic Qualifications

  10+ years experience in Media and Entertainment experience working with large production studios and streaming.

  10+ years demonstrable decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills.

  10+ years experience leading and coaching global, cross-functional teams.

  Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Demonstrable sales and customer facing experience with a hyper-scale cloud provider, platform as-a-service, or Software service provider.

  Experience leading and driving strategy with integrated Entertainment Experience providers, including OTT, Live Broadcast, Streaming, Gaming, Sports, and retail integration.

  Proven success driving long term engagements with globally significant accounts, aligning with CxO/Board level.

  Experience of creating long term transformational account strategies to drive enterprise-wide adoption of new technologies and applying solution-level design thinking to deliver success for global customers.

  Experience leading managers and individual contributors in functions such as solution architecture, customer success, inside sales, business development, specialized sales, marketing, professional services and premium support to ensure holistic customer engagement and satisfaction across corporate, all business units and subsidiaries of a single, global account.

  Masters Degree in Business or Information Systems.

  Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  Excellent analytical and presentation skills

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
