JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Chief Engineer has the overall responsibility to support the Chief Engineer in maintaining all facets of the facility, required maintenance, provide hands on repair, as well as administrative duties.
Review all open tickets daily. Review report with Chief Engineer weekly.
Assist Chief Engineer in coordinating daily operations of department
Maintain a schedule of regular walk thru's of the facility and issue work/GXP orders as required
Maintain inventories of material in a secure and organized environment, ensure repair and material is completed in a timely fashion,
Communicate regularly with department areas in respect to their of responsibility.
Share 24-hour emergency support with engineers and call out shift coverage
Manage control of department budget
Perform all duties as assigned by management.
Shifts may vary/and weekends.
REQUIREMENT
Preferred 3 years of hotel or apartment managerial experience in HVAC, Plumbing.
Preferred technical, management, customer service and mechanical aptitude Technical, strong interpersonal skills, written & oral communications, analytical skills ability to perform under pressure, moderate level skillset of facility maintenance and moderate computer operations skills.
