FocusKPI is looking for a Financial Analyst/ Budget Manager to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company. 

　　Work Location: Remote: anywhere in the US; preferred EST and CST

　　Duration: 5 months with potential for extension depending on your performance & budget

　　Pay Range: $40/hr to $48/hr 

　　Responsibilities:

　　Develop, present, and oversee financial budgets on an ongoing basis.

　　Ensure team is aligned on all budgets and financial processes.

　　Collaborate with budget owners to set budget goals and ensure they’re followed/tracked.

　　Forecast financial needs throughout the quarter/year.

　　Track results and compare them to key financial targets.

　　Provide necessary reporting, documentation, and financial assessments.

　　Explain complex financial data clearly.

　　Develop and maintain an accurate record-keeping system.

　　Identify, flag, and analyze potential financial and budgetary risks.

　　Provide financial summaries, reports, and recommendations as needed.

　　Qualifications:

　　BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

　　Proven work experience as a Budget Manager or Budget Analyst

　　Hands-on experience with accounting software and statistical packages

　　Knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts)

　　Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis

　　Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail

　　Strong analytical skills

　　Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations

　　Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms
