　　Engineering Test Technician :

　　Supports testing and commissioning for R211 subway railcars built by Kawasaki Railcar Manufacturing ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R211_(New_York_City_Subway_car) )

　　Supports troubleshooting of various electronic, communications, electrical systems as required - using portable test equipment ( laptops mostly with vendor software ), multi-meters, meggers, oscilloscopes, etc

　　Troubleshooting performed to a component level using schematics provided

　　Qualifications :

　　Previous experience in such roles as : Engineering Technician, Test Technician / Bench Technician, Industrial Electronics Technician / PLC Technician, Field Service Technician, Avionics Technician, Electrical Technician / Industrial Electrician, etc

　　IT / Computer skills required : retrieving and analyzing diagnostic logs, familiarity with basic Ethernet network communications, cabling and connection methods, use of basic network diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, etc), uploading software to devices using vendor instructions
