Job Description

　　As the Supplier Quality Engineer , you are the liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement and monitor advanced quality planning and provide technical support. Work is of a technical nature using independent decision-making within the limits of general practices and standards. Some mentorship from the supervisor is available to handle unusual situations.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Execute APQP process with those Suppliers assigned to meet or exceed program work.

　　Execute Program Reviews to program achievements and escalate issues appropriately.

　　Ensure supply base adheres to GM standards and quality and manufacturing processes are enabled identify out of standards conditions while preventing them to move to the next process or manufacturing site.

　　React to out of standard conditions are work cross functionally to resolve known issues in a timely manner.

　　Travel up to 75% to Supplier Manufacturing sites to ensure robust quality plans are in place.

　　Performs other related duties as assigned.
