We are seeking a || highly motivated student that is excited to have the chance to be || mentored by our elite team of Engineers for our Summer 2024 || Electrical Engineering (Power) Internship. || || The primary purpose of this position is to introduce the student || intern to electrical utility engineering work prior to the student's || final year of studies. Under the direction of Professional || Engineers, the student will perform special projects involving power || system analysis, equipment and technical research, data analytics and || applied technology. The selected intern will be a resource to a team || of electrical engineers needing project and planning study support || for high priority efforts needed to meet Benton PUD's near and || long-term objectives. || || || Benton PUD is looking for a student with the following: || || || || 1. Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and the ability || to quickly assimilate into a team. || 2. Good listening and questioning skills and the ability to || establish project objectives and priorities. || 3. Self-starter with strong project and task management discipline || and skills. || 4. Desire and ability to quickly learn new software systems through || direct instruction and independent study. || 5. Strong aptitude for researching and applying new equipment and || technology. || 6.
