Examples of product lines you may support are P-8,C-130, 787, A320, CH-53 and many more. As the first line of defense forour Engineering teams, you will have direct line of sight to identifyingand correct trending defects. 1st Shift Schedule:
This position is for 1st shift.
Monday Friday 7:00AM 3:30PM
Overtime available on a business need basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works under general supervision. Normally receives little instruction ondaily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure productspecifications and tolerance levels are met.
Performs troubleshooting, calibrations or modifications of hardware,fixtures and software.
Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems andcomponents/assemblies.
Maintains records of production and reports any issues while followingstandard procedures.
Interprets data and accurately records time changes, test data, partsusage, etc.
Utilizes microelectronic, electronic, optical, or electro-opticalequipment, including computers and lasers.
Provides technical solutions to engineering.
Ensures systems and components meet established specifications.
Reworks and repairs various electrical and electromechanical systems andcomponents/assemblies as needed.
May assist engineering with the design of printed circuit boards andprototypes (wire and insert parts).
May be trained/certified in multiple skills.
May train and mentor new technicians.
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevantexperience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
Preferred qualifications:
Expert ability to use both an oscilloscope and DMM for troubleshootingdown to the component level
The ability to bring cross-over knowledge from one product to another
Elaborate understanding and ability to follow Schematics and Prints atthe system and unit level to help with the troubleshooting.
Expert ability with logfile failures, and what is being exercised in theunit. If the technicians have experience in going from logfile failurereadouts to what circuit(s) inside the unit are being utilized.
