Robert Half is seeking a Donor Database Specialist for a notable client in the Denver Metro Area. This opportunity is a contract to hire role and would be 100% in-office. If you are a Raiser's Edge expert and passionate about Donor Relations, this might be the opportunity for you!
• Develops all data management, processing and systems that promote and support donor prospect strategies and goals. Ensures effective use of information systems and technology specific to donor relations, including all aspects of analytics and reporting, best practices in data management and reporting distribution to maintain an informative prospect pipeline.
• Captures biographical information during gift entry process and identifies opportunities to consolidate work, centralize, automate, analyze and increase accuracy.
• Establishes and documents departmental policies and procedures and describes donation processes, procedures, systems, and tax rules and regulations.
• Develops annual and long-term strategies and goals to support the organization’s fundraising efforts. Supports the VP of Development and finance department by creating financial reports and assuring accurate reconciliation of gifts.
• Acknowledges contributions and pledges in a timely manner and maintains donor records in Raisers Edge.
• Ensures digital fundraising activity (email, e-newsletters, and on-line contributions) are in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provides customer service to donors and other constituents by confirming receipt of contributions, investigating discrepancies, and fielding inquiries and complaints.
• Creates database queries as requested to provide Development staff with data or lists as requested.

Requirements
Possesses knowledge of donor stewardship and the related policies and procedures that support this stewardship.
Demonstrates proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office programs and Raiser’s Edge.
Handles confidential donor information with sensitivity, integrity and accuracy.
Displays knowledge in areas of financial controls and financial management planning tools, gift acceptance, accounting, and information systems.
Understands gift handling in a large organization
Organizes and prioritizes work effectively, giving excellent attention to detail.
Possesses ability to interpret and evaluate policy and procedure requirements and produce and analyze data.
