The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of Tufts Medical Center, Tufts Medicine, is seeking a Division Chief of Anatomic Pathology to provide clinical service and leadership. The Academic Division includes Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, Autopsy Pathology and Biorepository.

You will provide leadership and mentorship to the faculty of Anatomic Pathology
You will provide expertise in clinical service
You are passionate towards our academic commitment to teach residents, fellows, and medical students
You bring scholarly achievements either as an investigator or as a collaborator, and have the ability to partner with clinical and basic researchers in Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine
You champion for cutting edge clinical research and uphold protocol maintenance to provide the best care to our patients and to provide outstanding partnerships with other departments
Who you are:
Possess an MD/DO degree
Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Cytopathology
Licensed and/or eligible to practice Medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Qualify for a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine and participate in resident and medical student teaching
Proven leadership skills to include considerable experience in administrative oversight, management and teaching, or formal training and preparation to advance into a leadership role
Clinical expertise in Anatomic Pathology, subspecialty training in OBGYN, Breast, GI and Cytopathology preferred
Possess a portfolio of clinical research activities and/or funded or transferable research

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is accredited by both the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks. The Anatomic Pathology service accessions approximately twenty thousand (20,000) specimens annually to include a variety of biopsies and large surgical specimens. There are over eleven thousand (11,000) GYN pap cytology and approximately six hundred (600) non-GYN cytology cases.
