As part of the Corporate Communications, Marketing and Corporate Strategy Group, the Marketing team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager. You will be part of the team that develops EDC’s brand marketing program, including the planning and delivery of national brand campaigns and internal activation to embed the brand both across the customer and employee journey, working with stakeholders across the business to ultimately drive EDC’s brand health.
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for media strategy, measurement, and program evolution, collaborating with your team to deploy brand communication programs to promote the EDC brand across various channels that drive awareness and consideration. Defined as an engaged communicator with digital savviness, you will leverage data, insights, and qualitative research to effectively inform targeted programs. Relying on effective relationship building, the ideal candidate is expected to understand and translate business goals into exporter-centric digital strategies that are measurable by marketing KPIs and Brand Health metrics. The successful candidate should have a strong drive for results while striving for incremental improvements throughout the campaign life cycle.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Develops and executes digital and traditional advertising strategies to promote the EDC brand across various channels that drive brand health; including awareness, familiarity, consideration and ultimately result in lead generation.
Executes flawlessly across the entire portfolio of tactics, implements digital strategies/programs and analyzes their effectiveness through campaign scorecard metrics.
Applies the EDC brand to all digital initiatives and represents the voice of the customer throughout the exporter journey.
Leads ongoing monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of results of activities to recommend improvements and measure campaign effectiveness.
Accelerates digital marketing expertise as part of an integrated marketing model through sharing results, digital best practices, processes and internal digital capabilities.
Fosters innovation, customer intimacy and understanding throughout EDC teams.
Partners with brand squad team members and agency partners to develop digital strategies within assigned portfolio; manages scorecards/dashboards and budgets ensuring results are accurately captured.
Leads campaign landing page development, pixel implementation and proposes experiments to achieve desired goals.
Supports overall management of Brand Team budget, as well as reporting for the Events and Partnerships team.

Screening Criteria
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration; Marketing or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, marketing automation or related digital CX field
Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Experience developing a targeted digital marketing program based on customer insights
Experience with marketing measurement frameworks
Experience in media plan development with a focus on digital media including social media, SEM and programmatic
Experience with Multichannel marketing
Asset
Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
Experience with Adobe Analytics and PowerBI
Experience working in media or advertising agency
Salary Range:
Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $81,012 To $108,017.Location
Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
This role will be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or Montreal.
