Job Description

　　Insight Global's client is looking for Sr. Back End Developers who will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of their web application solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in Java, MongoDB and message queuing along with experience with JavaScript and Typescript and a working knowledge of APIs. The will collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, develop, and test software solutions that meet product requirements. They will utilize expertise in Java to maintain backend and develop new feature requests that require communication between the backend, frontend and a message broker at a minimum. They will manipulate data in various formats, including raw byte array message payloads and JSON. They will also use Protobuf, MQTT and APIs to communicate with other apps. Additionally they will collaborate with front end Vue.Js developers, write unit tests, access MongoDB storage. They would provide solutions to data streaming, processing, conversion, caching, and storage issues, along with monitoring memory, message and CPU usage and developing solutions to keep software running efficiently. They will participate in Agile and Scrum methodologies and collaborate using Git and Azure DevOps to track user stories and tasks; version control; continuous integration and deployment.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

　　3+ years of experience in backend or full-stack web app development

　　Extensive experience in Java and MongoDB

　　Experience with JSON data model manipulation

　　Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

　　Familiarity with APIs, message systems such as MQTT and, ideally, Protocol Buffers

　　Experience with Git and Azure DevOps or similar tools for task management, version control, and continuous integration

　　Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English null
