Job Description

　　We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Domain Architect, reporting to the Director -- Enterprise Architecture, to join our dynamic team in the Foreign Exchange payments processing industry. As a Digital Domain Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative digital solutions and shape the User interface architecture enhance our payments processing capabilities. Your role involves architecting scalable, performant, and maintainable front-end solutions, while partnering with IT, Product and senior executives to define target state architecture for Convera's external facing applications. You will use your knowledge of cloud-native banking solutions and services, cloud application architecture and best practices, hybrid cloud architecture, business automation solutions and AI/ML to advise and drive elegant, solutions architecture capabilities. The ideal candidate will champion new reference architecture patterns in both internal facing and external facing forums and will drive teams and decisions towards that end state, using principles and guidelines. We are seeking a candidate who has great breadth and depth of experience when it comes to UI/UX architecture.

　　In your role as Domains Architect, you will:

　　 · Perform hands-on architecture and design for solutions used primarily to enable to success of Convera's FX digital applications

　　 · Provide direction to integration efforts across a diverse portfolio of applications and technology platforms with AWS hosted solutions

　　 · Understand current state solutions, identify improvements, options and tradeoffs, define target state solution and propose investment roadmaps

　　 · Participate in integrated triage, solutioning and delivery of high value work for the domain

　　 · Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets and reusable patterns, implemented for the domain across product and engineering stakeholders

　　 · Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor

　　 · Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the UI architecture, implementing solutions to optimize page load times and responsiveness

　　 · Architect highly available, resilient solutions deployed across Convera's technology ecosystem spanning public cloud infrastructure and SaaS integrators

　　 · Identify and advise product and engineering teams on emerging technology solutions in the FX and payment processing businesses that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, capabilities, reduce risks and increase security.

　　 · Collaborate with project teams to lead solution design, project proposals, proof-of-concepts, and delivery of the solution implementation including integration with both internal and external applications

　　 · Communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams, and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies, and otherwise defined best practices

　　Play a lead role in shaping and participating in Convera's Architecture Review Board

　　Skills and Requirements

　　A successful candidate for this position should have:

　　 · A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Governance, Information Security or related field.

　　 · 10+ years of architecting and delivering solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information, and infrastructure)

　　 · 5+ years of experience architecting and developing AWS cloud-native applications including development of APIs and microservices on containers

　　 · Working knowledge of financial industry related architecture and data management practices.

　　 · Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

　　 · 5 years of Hands-on enterprise architecture framework experience (TOGAF, Zachman models, etc.) - nice to have

　　 · Experience in interacting with senior leadership

　　 · Have an intellectual curiosity and interest to maintain and acquire new business, technology and architecture skills

　　Nice to have Qualifications:

　　 · Certification in one of the enterprise architecture frameworks

　　 · AWS or equivalent certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect-Associate)

　　 · Advance knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and strategies (including IAAS, PAAS, Security, Compute, Storage, and Messaging

　　Experience with cloud adoption and migration for existing on-premise solutions and integrations with SAAS products. null
