  POSITION SUMMARY

  The CVS Digital - Developer Experience team is on a mission to build an enterprise software deployment platform, CVS Application Platform (CAP), that will transform how developers deploy applications at scale for CVS Digital application teams. We are a team of engineers and engineering leader's laser-focused on delivering exceptional self-service experiences to our developers who are writing critical guest-facing digital applications to help people on their path to better health. We are looking for engineers and engineering leaders across all levels and skillsets that are passionate about delivering highly scalable, reliable and secure platforms that make deploying software incredibly easy.

  About the Role

  Digital Senior Dev Engineer I is a hands-on software engineering role that will be using their software development experience to build various services for CAP. As a Digital Senior Dev Engineer I you will be working with a team of experienced engineers to design, code, test, and debug software applications that power critical experiences for both internal and external customers using CAP.

We like pushing code to production!Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams as necessary to deliver high value work for the organization.Be a daily advocate for and implement security best practices.Participate in on-call rotations providing exceptional service to our customers.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience exhibiting deep expertise in one or more programing languages such as Go, Java.3+ years of full software development life cycle including ideation, coding, coding standards, testing, code reviews and production deployments.3+ years of experience with modern software development practices like CI/CD and collaborative coding tools like GitHub, GitLab, etc. Solid understanding of Linux based systems.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHave a strong desire to see others succeed by mentoring and coaching other engineers through pair programing.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change requirements.Strong understanding of observability and using telemetry to inform decision making.Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development methodology.Ability to work independently and part of a team.EDUCATION Bachelor's degree from accredited University or equivalent work experience BUSINESS OVERVIEW

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $94,500.00 - $196,000.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
