About the Role

　　Location: Hyderabad

　　About the role: Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment, and to monitor operations.Coordinating with other members of the DevOps team, Development, Test, and other teams to enhance and optimize existing processes

　　Your responsibilities include but not are limited to

　　• AWS Platform/DevOps platform Development/Deployment/Support

　　• Implement Novartis-wide strategy and system architecture for AWS Platform/DevOps platform for Big Data, Advanced Analytics systems within AWS Cloud

　　• Ensure that all release and deployment packages can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and backed out (if required), in adherence to CI/CD best practices

　　• Provide excellent domain expertise on Platform services, DevOps and develops an environment, which fosters innovation

　　• Act as trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities and relevant project information aligning with appropriate levels of staff regarding business needs, projects and initiatives

　　• Manage, coaches and oversees external resources in line with their targets, roles and responsibilities and the Novartis values & behaviors

　　Role Requirements

　　• Engineering or computer science degree with 8+ years' experience in some of the services like Airflow (open source), Databricks, Streamsets (Enterprise Edition), AWS Glue, AWS Managed Airflow & Python etc.

　　• Good Experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2,EKS,FARGATE, ECS, EFS, RDS, ELB, EBS, S3, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on standard process cloud security

　　• Experience to craft high available solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions. Experience in AWS Security Groups, VPC, Routing Tables, Subnets, EBS, Cloud Front, EC2, S3, IAM Roles and Policies, Cloud Watch, Lambda, SNS, SQS, SSL Certs, and Auto Scaling Groups

　　• with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration Management technologies such as Docker, Jenkins.

　　• Automating AWS tasks using AWS tools, sdks, cloud formation scripts, Python scripting is a must Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production and non-production platforms

　　• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with supervising tools like Splunk Experience with containers and HA clusters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global environment a must.

　　• Has an open and learning demeanor. Adapts to new learning approaches and methods. Work as part of Agile development team, fully participating in Scrum ceremonies and development processes.

　　• Follow prescribed data security measures and carry out all work with a security first approach.
