　　As one of our Defined Contribution Retirement Consultants, you'll play a critical role in helping investors save for retirement. You are motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them. You'll collaborate with Retirement Plan Counselors in the field and financial advisors and consultants that specialize in the Defined Contribution marketplace to identify new opportunities for American Funds.

　　You're well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner. You'll initiate sales and present compelling solutions to promote American Funds and the placement of our investments within fund menus.

　　You have a bachelor's degree.You have an in-depth understanding of the defined contribution marketplace.You thrive in team settings. You ask great questions, bounce ideas off others and proactively share your perspective.You will represent American Funds and provide retirement plan thought leadership at key events and meetings.You will need to have or complete the FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and 63.

　　San Antonio Base Salary Range: $85,477-$136,763

　　Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $91,047-$145,675

　　In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
