　　Opportunity

　　Morgan Stanley is seeking a self-starter, experienced full stack developer to join the Fixed Income Front Office Technology team. The individual will work as part of the global development team to help the team design, develop a modern technology stack to power our digital platforms aimed unlocking efficiencies for our Investment Teams. As a front office developer, the individual will also work closely with the Fixed Income team to solve operational problems and design strategic portfolio optimization solutions for our investment teams. The individual will work directly with Fixed Income portfolio managers and traders to gather requirements and help build a decision support system for them. This platform is a new build out and aims to assist Fixed income PM and traders during order generation. The individual will work with senior team members to design and implement solutions using latest cutting-edge technology.

　　Your responsibilities will include:

　　1. Designing and developing modern and modular web applications using modern coding and testing standards.

　　2. Learning/understanding Fixed Income instruments and workflows, to build business solutions.

　　3. Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.

　　4. Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.

　　5. Leading with ideas and innovation.

　　6. Leading communication and partnering with our end users (Fixed Income business) to design solutions.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Primary SkillsBachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, electrical engineering or similar is preferred.Candidates with to 5-9 years of experience developing enterprise applications solid experience writing unit, component, and integration tests.Experience with Python.Working knowledge of Java.Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.Experience working with build tooling.Ability to engage with end users for requirement gathering and run agile ceremonies.Willingness to learn MS Intellectual cloud-based technologies.Good To have SkillsUnderstanding of financial markets and instruments.Experience in financial services.Experience with Fixed Income Portfolio tools and data.Experience with ReactExperience with MVC Architecture for webapps.Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
