Function of Position:
The Customer Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the support of customers with main focuses on Student Life Activities and Athletics for students and staff at MCC to help develop a vibrant student environment.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Desk Operations:
Coordinate customer function support at the Service Desk to include but not limited to:Serve as Service Desk Attendant.Maintain information sources at the Service Desk (Policies and Procedures Manual, Club Key Access List,Information Binder, and Trip Manual).Receive and disburse money transactions for MCC Association - Residence Life, Food for Thought, mealmoney, copiers, lockers, and video games.Serve as an informational resource to students, faculty, and the college community by providing responses toquestions related to student financial transactions, college events, and giving directions to college offices andbuildings.Disburse Dreamkeepers and Wegman's Grant gift cards.Maintain inventory levels of gift cards and assist in ordering as needed.Business Office Operations:
Supervising and training student employees on operational protocol and customer service skillsAssist with maintaining all office equipment, and ordering suppliesMaintain ELounge to include staffing the office with student workers, facilitating repair equipment and ordering of suppliesPrint all Photo IDs including replacements and maintain Photo ID email account.Maintain sufficient inventory levels of ID Cards and printer ribbons.Complete required paperwork and oversee all scheduled usage for Association Van RentalsCoordination of all event setups in the Forum, Brick Lounge, and Terrace Lounge.Coordination of all event setups for all Student Association events held on the Brighton campus.Assist in the operation of certain Student Association off-campus events.Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to back-up for Accounts Payable, Meal Plan reconciliation, and special projects.MCC Expectations:

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related fieldStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to a wide variety of customers in a reliable mannerAbility to work under tight deadlines and promptly handle last-minute urgenciesStrong attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProof of COVID-19 vaccinationPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's DegreeIntermediate Excel skills Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workflowsBilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently Additional Information:
Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity and college budget. This position has a range of $40,000 to $50,000 and is based on these mentioned factors.
