Job Description
Works directly with the client / group contact as an extension to the Banquet Operations and the Conference Service team(s)
Responsibilities
include the following but are not limited to; other duties may be assigned to you.
Check Daily, BEOs and Daily Event list and verify changes
Meet daily with group contact / client and attend to their needs
Serve as liaison between clients and all La Costa departments to ensure a successful program.
Handle any unexpected need by the client in a timely manner.
Communicate all changes made by client to proper departments, Including Conference Managers.
Coordinate deliveries from the mail room in an expeditious and timely manner
Check ALL rooms and ensure that all signage is correct and in appropriate locations.
Double check BEO for proper room set up, AV set up, IT / Telecommunication set up and call appropriate department to make corrections as needed.
Ensure proper equipment is in good working order (I.E., phones, AV equipment, IT equipment
Walk property and notify Banquet Manager, Housekeeping, and facilities of issues of cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
Must be able to work on weekends.
Must have flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late evenings.
High School Diploma or general Education degree required.
Must have good verbal communication skills, word processor/computer skills experience.

Pay Rate: $22.40/hr
