　　Structural Engineering at VAA (Port and River Group)

　　VAA’s Port and River Group is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a qualified, technically strong structural engineer with a passion for (or interested in) large maritime infrastructure projects. 　　Your role:

　　Perform high quality engineering services on waterfront infrastructure for VAA’s Port and River clients

　　Manage team of direct reports including engineers and designers in VAA’s Port and River Group

　　Be a technical resource for the company as well as early career engineers

　　Be the point of contact to clients and work alongside a team of engineers and designers across multiple disciplines

　　Lead the preparation of proposals, design documents and project deliverables

　　Perform site observations/evaluations (potential for up to 25% travel to construction sites)

　　Your resume should include:

　　Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis

　　Professional Engineer license

　　8+ years’ experience in structural engineering including seismic experience. Marine experiencepreferred

　　Proven ability to manage clients, projects, and staff
