If you are too, we'd love to talk!About the RoleWe are looking for a Creative Director to infuse a level of contagious positivity, fashion forward style, inspiration, creative energy, and product storytelling excellence into a fast growing and multi-functional design team. Wallflowers and egomaniacs need not apply.You will lead a talented, award winning, in-house Creative and Design Team focused on seasonal, product and lifestyle driven storytelling that redefines our brand for the next 100 years. You will bring our Stanley brand values and aesthetics to life to attract new consumers.This role reports to Stanley's VP, Global Brand Marketing and is based in Seattle, WA. You must be able to work from our office and travel as the needs of the team and company dictate.Key responsibilities include:Leads, inspires, collaborates and executes Stanley's brand strategy, narrative, voice and comprehensive seasonal stories across the global enterprise.Drives the creative storytelling across the Seasonal Go-To-Market Calendar- including Direct to Consumer (DTC), retail, events, packaging, video, visual merchandising, CRM, email, and together with internal and external Creative Services as necessary.Leads the creative process to design content that supports all aspects of the brand; packaging, brand ID, marketing, UX, videography, photography, social, DTC, events, retail and wholesale content creation.Ensures creative brand consistency across all global consumer touch points. Manages brand standards internally across a complex matrix, including global leadership, marketing, sales, DTC, and product development, to ensure a single point of brand truth.Researches design and consumer lifestyle and trends, cross referencing from fashion & beauty, furniture & home accessories, sport/lifestyle, packaging, music, art, and digital media.Leads, Inspires and develops an in-house team of creative professionals while connecting the creative approach to the business strategy.Elevates creative operational performance including:Setting goals, deadlines, and budgetsFinding meaningful ways to articulate and solve problemsPlanning and advocating for resourcesInforming and aligning stakeholders at all levels of leadership and in multiple geographies.Manages the annual creative budget.About YouA creative spark with a team mentality who can ignite others.10+ years of Design and Creative Leadership experiences across multiple categories and with high-profile, consumer-facing, global lifestyle brands and/or within high profile agencies.Demonstrable Leadership Identity. 8+ years leading, driving, coaching and inspiring design-centric individuals, team and communities.BA/BS in Design or other related, creative discipline.Can vision, author, communicate and execute an "inspired design and creative future" for a lifestyle brand.Software Tools - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel, Smartsheet, DAM tools, etc.Experience in AI, and other new media a plus.Highly motivated, collaborative and autonomous - takes ownership of projects and is objective and responsiv
