  Location Overview:

  Our Central Park office in Leopardstown, boasts modern facilities based in Dublin's premium business park.   Role Description:

  An exciting opportunity has become available within the Asset Services department. The department is responsible for Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Action events within EMEA markets. Dublin Asset Services is a globally aligned function reporting to the Global Head of Asset Services. The department works closely with colleagues in London, US, and Asia Asset Services.

  Asset Services play an important role in the life cycle of a trade and they work closely with other Operational teams and external parties to ensure risk on corporate actions is dealt with effectively.

  This role offers direct interactions with a variety of different lines of business (including Prime Broker, Equity Trading, Swaps, Stock Loan and Custody) and as such the ability to build and retain good relationships with these stakeholders is important.

  Responsibilities:

  You will understand & correctly interpret information on corporate action events received from various data sources.You will be responsible for ensuring that risk is managed, and policies and procedures are adhered to.You will build relationships with key stakeholders, including trading desks.You will ensure that team reconciliation of position and accurately process events is completed on the key processing date.You will Coach and mentor more junior team members.You will Identify operational improvements and drive change to implement changes.You will Liaise with and resolve asset servicing related queries for clients, internal and external within agreed SLAs.You will be the Key Asset Services contact for initiatives/projects.

  What we are looking for:

  You will have Knowledge of Banking / Financial services industry.You will have Product exposure, Asset Services or Settlements experience beneficial. A track record of supporting product and delivering operational support for a top tier financial institution.You will have a high level of client service skills. You will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  Skills that will help:

  Ability to drive multiple deliverables within tight timelines.Ability to escalate issues and manage risk.Excellent PC skills.Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
