As a Product Manager Sr, this role will be responsible for developing and leading the long-term strategic vision for the Consumer Banking's mass market deposit portfolio. This role will report to the Head of Core Deposit Product Strategy
You will be responsible for defining the long-term strategic vision of the Core deposit product portfolio on how to stay competitive in a changing landscape that is informed through market research, customer insights, financial analysis, and analytics. This individual will partner across the organization to define a vision, collaborate with other segment leads, and help bring changes to market.
Job Responsibilities:
Be a business owner by making decisions that balances improving customer experiences, achieving long-term profitability, and maintain the overall health of the account portfolio
Partner with teams to understand profitability drivers and the end-to-end P&L of various customer segments/cohorts and help develop solutions that optimize our goals
Keep up on industry and customer trends to bring forward recommendations of how we keep pace with a rapidly changing market and exceed customer expectations
Use data-driven insights to influence the Core segment development roadmap to roll out new features and solutions that solve critical needs
Achieve results by working closely with our Analytics/Product/Design teams to ask challenging questions to understand how customers are using our products and features, know key differences among our customer cohorts, and ways we can make meaningful impacts to the business
Collaborate closely across various levels and functions within the organization, provide leadership to influence outcomes, and help rally partners around the long-term vision of the segment
Required Qualifications, skills and Capabilities:
5 years of deposit experience (in Product Management, Finance, or Strategy)
Strong general management and leadership skills, including demonstrated success leading large organizations through significant changes
Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written communication and presentation skills
Curious to identify ways we can improve customer experiences and an understanding of how we can make data driven decisions
Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
Expertise in defining product strategy supported by analytical analysis to identify trends and showcase relevant metrics/insights
Demonstrated ability to quickly develop effective trust-based relationships, working closely with cross functional stakeholders across the business to influence outcomes and oversee accountability without formal authority
