Job Description

　　Insight Global is currently seeking a Controls Engineer for a direct hire opportunity supporting the creation of the brand-new manufacturing plant in Glendale, KY. This individual will support a growing engineering department focused on improving facility efficiency and supporting plant expansion. It can be expected that 50% of the time this engineer will be out in the plant interacting with engineers, technicians, tradesmen, and operators to understand project needs. Ideally, we are looking for an organized, self-driven problem solver to join the organization to support the production lines, ensuring all methodologies are safe, effective, and efficient. This engineer will be hands on troubleshooting PLC's, robot and other automation problems as well utilizing plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, program new installations and conveyor systems.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (RS Logix, Rockwell, or Allen Bradley)

　　* Electrical Background (electrician or technician)

　　* 3+ Years of Controls Engineer Experience in a Manufacturing environment

　　* Ability to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery * Bachelor's Degree

　　* Fanuc robot, Kawasaki programming

　　* Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO

　　* Simulation modeling exposure

　　* Lean Tools -- 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping

　　* FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience null
