Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of security experts, the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) will lead, supervise, and direct security measures necessary for implementing applicable security requirements into Launch Services Provider (LSP) processes. The CPSO will be New Business focused, a forward-thinking professional with creativity in mind as they introduce security processes into multiple environments and life-cycle phases, to include Leading-Edge Integration (LEI), proposals efforts, and production. The CPSO will interface business partners, teammate, and customer personnel. The CPSO will interpret and convey Department of Defense (DoD), Special Access Program (SAP), and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements. The CPSO will report to Blue Origin's Government Security Director and will serve as the primary security point of contact for assigned programs, solidify a strong security posture, and instill security as a critical process to Blue Origin employees. The CPSO will provide security expertise, guidance, and advice to personnel. The CPSO must have substantial security-related experience and knowledge of government security regulations, manuals, and processes, to include those outlined in the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD-704, 705, etc.), DoD 5205.07, and other applicable manuals. The CPSO will have experience in Operations Security (OPSEC), Insider Threat Management (ITM), and Physical Security, to include Tempest requirements. The CPSO will perform Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) duties, be required to travel, and cross-train in different security-related areas.
