Job Description

　　The compiler team within Software and Advanced Technology group at Intel has an opportunity available for a Senior Compiler Engineer. This is a great opportunity to on work on cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, debug, test compiler software and programming languages. In this role you will be working on the implementation and performance tuning of new processor features. As a senior engineer in this role, you will have an opportunity to work and collaborate with hardware engineering teams, external partners, be a member of communities developing compilers, and participate in language and standard groups. In particular, this role will be helping us to maintain and advance the x86 instruction sets and new hardware architectural features in the GCC and binutils toolchains for Linux, working in these open source communities.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer/software/electrical engineering with 8+ years of experience.

　　4+ years of experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, data structure 3+ years of experience with compiler development

　　Preferred Qualifications (At least have one or more experience below):

　　Master's degree or PhD. in Computer science or Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering Experience with LLVM or GCC compiler development Experience with vectorization and parallel programming models such as OpenMP, SYCL and/or CUDA

　　This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
