Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of our technology clients sitting fully remote for the duration of the contract. This candidate will be joining the Enterprise Mobile Computing team which is one of the groups responsible for supporting our clients handheld devices. This position is open for a project surrounding an accessory for these hand held devices. The preferred candidate should have 5+ years of experience working on small electronic products such as mobile computers and have strong Creo working experience. This position is either local to Long Island, or fully remote.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　5+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer designing small electronics like phones, tablets, or other rugged products and accessories (cradles, charges, etc).

　　Proficient working with 3D CAD Creo

　　Strong communication skills to communicate with JDMs and partners overseas

　　Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering - Local to Long Island, New York

　　Experience designing and manufacturing injection molding plastics, cast metals, sheet metal

　　Experience supporting Cost Reduction efforts

　　Previous experience working and communicating with partners in Taiwan or China null
