IMMEDIATE CLINICAL DATA ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY WITH LEADING BIOPHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY
This opportunity is with a multi-billion dollar company who is currently leading the industry with 9+ marketed drugs and a robust pipeline of 40+ clinical trials in phases I-III. In addition, 100% of their drug candidates are invented and developed in-house and they are repeatedly bringing life-changing medicines to patients with serious diseases. This role serves as the Clinical Data Transformation Manager to create an automated, scalable approach for data transformation, automation, and common data model for the Clinical Data platform. This position is responsible to lead and prepare data mapping rules to design domain specific logical automated data pipelines, common data model and partner with various functions to drive the implementation. This role would Collaborate with different business groups across Global Development organizations to capture, prioritize, develop, and document data transformation and automation requirements, and drive measurable results. Must possess hands-on experience with tools such as Databricks, Dataiku, ETL technology, programming language (SQL, Python), and AWS cloud platform (S3, Data Lake), Data Lake, Data Warehousing, and analytics information domainsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years of experience in Clinical data experience in pharma/biotech or CRO - clinical data analytics, preferably in the BioPharma industry.
5+ years of Data Lake experience
2+ years of Databricks experience
Strong knowledge of modern data analytic platforms and technologies, including Big Data, Lakehouse, and modern data ingestion and integration.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CLINICAL DATA SETS, EDC and non-crf data, and have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with a variety of large and complex datasets including (but not limited to) basic research datasets and clinical data.
