Description:
Client is seeking a Civil Project Manager. This position reports directly to the VP of Land Development. They have have 3 different local metro Detroit offices, and these positions could sit out of any of them based on where they live if necessary, ideally in their Rochester Hills office. They have a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
This is a leadership position on the Land Development team and is responsible for skilled and complex professional engineering work with minimum supervision; leading growth initiatives that include: health care, K-12, and various other private sector projects. This position will market to owners and architects in the above-mentioned industries.
DUTIES:
• Manage civil site and infrastructure design engineering
• Lead a team of engineers and designers for civil site
• Manage projects to a profit while meeting all deadlines with quality.
• Actively participate in the development of business from existing and new clients.
• Selling the services offered by the department as outlined in the Growth Plan Developed for this Market or as directed by the President.
• May organize and conduct presentations and interviews for procuring new clients, develop workload forecasting documents and organize a constructive workload schedule to manage all projects to budget and schedule of delivery dictated by the contract.
• Actively recruit new hires for the team as well as manage and develop existing team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
7 plus years of experience within Civil Land Development
3 plus years of Project Management Experience
Experience designing grading, drainage, utilities, sanitary/sewer, etc.
Oversite of Design and Site Plans
BONUS:
5 plus years of Project Management experience
PE License
K-12 project experience
