Overview

Responsibilities
Operate, maintain and repair including, but not limited to any type of oil or gas fired boiler, de aerator, plant air compressor, control air compressor, and cooling tower.
Operate and maintain the network of piping systems up to the first valve off the main. This includes the nitrogen system, natural gas system, plant air system, domestic water system; stand by fuel oil system, hot water heating systems, cooling tower systems. Inspects equipment and perform preventive maintenance measures and routine operational adjustments such as lubricating and cleaning filters, motors, and other equipment.
Operate, maintain and repair steam traps, steam regulators and condensate movers.
Provides information on treatment rates, chemicals and dosage to assure all boilers, steam condensate, cooling tower water, hot water heating, and chilled water systems are maintaining proper flow rates and feed quality.
Ensures compliance is met with regulatory agencies. Operate SCADA system to retrieve data for log sheet.
Qualifications
Required:
HS diploma required. Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience pertaining to the skills identified
All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Majority of new hires will be hired on 2nd shift.
