  Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Sales Training Facilitator to join our Commercial Learning and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, delivery, and measurement of our proprietary sales training and development program. You will collaborate closely with sales department stakeholders to monitor the efficacy of sales training; you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company.   The Role

  Do you love helping others excel? Do you have a passion for training? As a Sales Training Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to provide initial training and ongoing development to Hyatt colleagues across multiple regions and skill sets:

  • Virtual and In Person Facilitation – your main responsibility will be the facilitation of Hyatt’s proprietary sales training curriculum. In meeting this expectation this role will meet learners where they are and use the course interactions to instill confidence and awareness. If you are passionate about creating impactful experiences for learners, this role will give you all the fuel you need.

  • Test and Learn – Hyatt is on a journey of constant improvement. When this role is not facilitating, the role will be tasked with evolving our sales training experience – communications, colleague round tables, pulse surveys, assessment reviews, supplemental resources, etc. With each course delivery, you’ll test new learning ideas and processes. If you love testing new ideas to fill gaps in a fast-paced environment, you’ll fulfill that passion here.

  • Drive for Impact – our evolution and case for change are grounded in data. This role will also use sentiment, turnover, and performance data to advocate for changes to learning programming and demonstrate successes. If you are driven by leveraging data to make learning decisions, this role will give you that opportunity.

  • Develop Diverse Talent – This role will act as a conduit for colleague growth! You’ll get to be the ambassador for all things Hyatt, and the catalyst for the learning journey for many leaders. Learners will come from various backgrounds, span various levels from coordinator to director, and be seeking knowledge to perform various commercial responsibilities so being able to balance the delivery of scalable training with learner impact will be important. If you are motivated by helping others succeed and stand in the spotlight, you’ll have endless possibilities in this role.

  Qualifications:

  Experience Required:

  •Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in a hotel environment, Manager level or above.

  •Experience across multiple brands and hotel categories preferred (select service, full service, lifestyle).

  •Must be able to demonstrate exposure and working knowledge of the implications of operations, marketing, and revenue management functions in a sales role.

  •Working knowledge of industry-standard nomenclature, and business processes.

  •Strong knowledge of processes and strategies across all segments, especially group, transient, and leisure.

  •Experience in facilitation.

  •Franchise experience preferred.

  •Hyatt experience preferred.

  •Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  •Mastery in Zoom software.

  •Ability to travel 50 – 75% may be required for this role.

  Experience Preferred:

  •Post-secondary education

  •Training certifications preferred.

  •Knowledge of adult learning theory

  •Learning content design
