You will achieve this bymanningan Integrated Security Operations Center (ISOC) and effectivelyoperatingand troubleshooting the internal/external security and life-safety systems,identifyingand addressing threats to the security of employees and operations.

　　Control access to and movement of personnel (employees, visitors, contractors) within the building via a computerized access control system and ensure that no one is granted access to zones for which they are notauthorized;Perform regular internal/external building security patrols andmonitorsecurity cameras to ensure that mandated security and health and safety procedures are being adhered to across the building and grounds.Investigate identified security and health and safety threats building maintenance issues, communicate them to the ISOC and report them tomanagement;Act as a first responder and react quickly and effectively to emergency situations (fire, flood, chemical, medical, criminal, etc.) by initiating and following established emergency management plans to protect and preserve life,assetsand thefacility;Ensure the security of our facility and assets by monitoring incoming/outgoing deliveries and shipments. Visually inspect personnel's purses, bags, toolboxes, etc., on departure from the facility to ensure no unauthorized material isremoved;Prepare andsubmitincident/occurrence reports for security and health and safety-related incidents and communicate and escalate accordingly;Complete daily shift reports andmaintaina notebook of your recorded observationsregardingpotential security or health and safety related threatspertaining tofacility issues or personnelbehavior; andVarious other duties and responsibilitiesQualificationsKnowledge and Experience

　　5+ yearsofexperiencein an Armed Security role (or equivalent). Employer would consider 3 years if the individual has a lot of CCTV experienceFamiliarity with:Integrated Security OperationsCenter operationsCCTVsystemsAccess controlsystemsSecurity AuditsSkills and Abilities

　　Basic computer literacyCommunication skills (verbal and written)Problem-solvingskillsOrganization/time management skillsMandatory Requirements

　　Hold a certification under the Department of Criminal Justice Services of the Common Wealth of Virginia as per the Armed Special Conservator of the Peace regulations or be willing to take course to become certified to be armed.
