As an AI/ML Engineer, you will co-lead the innovation incubation process for solutions in AI, Machine Learning and cognitive services. You will be responsible for developing and delivering applications using image processing, NLP, computer vision, statistics, signal processing, predictions, and problem-solving solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical colleagues to identify how technology can be used to solve challenges related to Industry 4.0 and processes automation. 　　Responsibilities:

　　Develop solutions based on image processing, NLP, computer vision, statistics, signal processing, predictions, and problem-solving solutionsSupport architecture decisions regarding the framework, platform, or tech stack used to create a solutionParticipate in technical discussions between business and technical colleaguesDevelop proof-of-concept software to validate if a given technology can be used for a specific problemCo-create a business and technical concept of the solution, the PoC, and technical analysisKeep knowledge up-to-date regarding new and emerging IT technology and practices; bring learning into the IT Innovation Accelerator team and Hitachi Energy's IT strategy.

　　Your Background:

　　Experience in AI/ML areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, signal processing and data analyticsHands-on experience in training custom ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other toolsProgramming skills in any of the following languages: Python (preferred), C#, or JavaExperience with Azure Databricks/Azure Machine Learning Studio will be a plusBasic understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architectureGood communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersGood analytical skills to understand and ability to gather requirementsWillingness to learn and to find and test new toolsNice to have knowledge of Microsoft Azure servicesFluency in written and spoken English
